Two Tillinghast Courses at Bethpage
Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York, has more than one course, and this collection maps two of them. A.W. Tillinghast designed both, about a year apart. Red opened in 1935 and Black followed in 1936. Both maps are drawn in the same mid-century style, so you can hang them side by side and compare how one architect routed two layouts on the same state park ground, from the shape of each fairway to where the bunkers and greens sit.
