Three Decades of Irvine Golf
You can follow Irvine's golf history through these three courses. Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course came first, opening in 1964 on a William Francis Bell design. About three decades later the city got two more: Oak Creek Golf Club in 1996, designed by Tom Fazio, and Strawberry Farms Golf Club in 1997. So one city holds a 1960s layout and two from the late 1990s. Seeing each one drawn hole by hole is a good way to compare how differently they move across the ground.
Picking Your Irvine Course and Frame
Start with the course they play most, or the one tied to a good memory like a first round or a best score. The 12x16 fits an office shelf or a narrow hallway. The 18x24 suits most walls and makes an easy gift. The 24x32 can carry the wall above a sofa or in a den. Black frames look sharp in an office, white keeps a room light, and green has a clubhouse feel. For a local golfer, all three Irvine courses in matching frames make a strong set.
