Two Courses at Ponte Vedra Beach
TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, has more than one course, and this collection maps two of them. The original TPC Sawgrass course opened in 1980 to a Pete Dye design. The Dyes Valley Course followed in 1987. Drawn as maps, the difference is easy to see. Each one has its own routing, its own run of fairways and greens, and its own arrangement of bunkers and water. Side by side, they look like two chapters of the same place, not two copies of one course.
